A 16-year holiday tradition continues this year with the Christmas Day telecast of the 2010 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship - the premier power event in golf.
The finals were held in Mesquite, Nev., in October. ESPN2 will air the 90-minute highlights show at 2 p.m. ET on Dec. 25 and ESPN will repeat it the next day at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Tune in to see whether Canadian long hitter Jamie Sadlowski corrals a third consecutive Long Drive title and the $150,000 first prize that goes with it.
The telecast will feature ESPN's Ball Track technology, making it easier to follow the flight of the 300-yard-plus drives across the sky. The network debuted the technology, based on Doppler Radar, during the Home Run Derby at the 2010 Major League All-Star Game.
Competitors from more than 20 countries competed this year in local and regional qualifying events. The Long Drive finals feature competition in several divisions, including one for military personnel.
RE/MAX has been the title sponsor of the event since 1995.
